Untitled design (17)At Western Post, a leading cross-border 3PL, staffing manual unloading consistently created ongoing labor pressure that affected safety, efficiency, and day-to-day operational stability.
Labor instability: Planning and matching daily trailer requirements with receiving labor often drove short staffed inbound operations.
Worker safety risk: Repetitive lifting, heavy cartons, and harsh unloading conditions can increase strain on workers, raising safety concerns and contributing to turnover.
Cost pressure: Increasing lumper fees steadily eroded margin on inbound shipments.
Western Post partnered with Anyware Robotics to deploy Pixmo, a multi-purpose robot powered by AnywareOS, Anyware’s Physical AI designed for unstructured industrial environments.
Pixmo is engineered as a deployment-ready unloading system, combining:
A mobile autonomous platform paired with a collaborative arm for precise box handling
Integrated cameras and sensors for navigation, detection, and safe operation around people
AnywareOS Physical AI that adapts to real-world variability and grows with operation.
In January 2025, Pixmo reached live operation within the first week of deployment and has continued to improve performance over time through real-world deployment. The deployment helped Western Post ease staffing pressure, support more consistent dock operations, and bring greater stability to a critical inbound workflow.

“Our company will handle over 45,000 containers in 2025. We’ve sought solutions for years that uphold our efficiency commitments to customers while ensuring a safe work environment for our staff. We are excited to have Pixmo deployed at our warehouses to unload containers safely, efficiently, and sustainably.”
– Young Liu, CEO of Western Post
For the Industry:
Western Post signals what modern unloading automation looks like. Not fixed, facility-tied systems, but mobile, AI-powered multi-purpose robots that deploy fast, perform through variability, and scale into more workflows over time.
For the Workforce:
Container unloading is one of the most physically demanding jobs in the warehouse. Reliable automation reduces exposure to extreme conditions, helping operators run more safely, more efficiently, and with greater labor stability.
For the Future:
Pixmo proves that the future of logistics automation is mobile and adaptable, built to perform through real-world variability without fixed infrastructure or major rebuilds.
